I was delighted to visit the exhibition back to FUTURE – Technology visions between fiction and reality at the Museum of Communication in Berlin. It dealt with historical visions of the future and paid particular attention to the visual communication of these visions. The four themed rooms dealt with human optimization, limitless communication, the search for a different world and overcoming space and time.
One part of the themed room on overcoming space and time was based on the findings of my essay on autonomous driving. In the choice of many images, artifacts and descriptions, this area followed my ideas, which I was very pleased about. At the curators’ request, I supported the exhibition with visual material. However, I had only dreamed of transferring my research into the utopia of autonomous driving into an exhibition context. Thank you very much for that.
